Lost Mines Walkthrough: Getting Geostew sub-accessory

After concluding the main Lost Mines quest and becoming friends with the mining clan, you'll gain access to the well that leads to Desolated Mines, the Leeches area. It consists in a hunting area with very deadly creatures and very good drops. It's also the area that will lead you to the second quest of the Lost Mines, the quest for Geostew sub-accessory.

This quest allows you to obtain 1 geostew of choice, regardless of your level, which means if you want to get geostews for lower level characters you can, but if you're about to move up in San mark (I.e. from Sam san to Sa san) and want to purchase the next tier one, you can also do it. Basically what changes is the amount of gold you need to give. Before that you need to choose if you want fighter (more vita) or caster (more mana) versions.

Geostew Quest Walkthrough:

*Before beginning go to Buya arena and purchase a Stealth explosive for 200 coins. You'll need it on step 3.

1. To start the quest head to the well located near the Mining Primogen at Deep Mines area.



2. Once you enter the Desolated Mines, walk east towards Underground Cavern and then north towards Muddy passage where you'll find Bo.



3. Talk to Bo and he'll ask you for the Stealth Explosive.



4. You'll fall to the Hidden Pond. Walk from north area to south where De is located.



5. De will ask you for the following items. Make sure you have them all inventory before visiting her including the gold coins:

Amethyst (2)Diamond (2)Quartz (2)
Coal (1)
Iron Nuggets (2)
Leech Juice (10)

Mica (3)
Rock Pieces (5)
Topaz (3)

Important note: Make sure you have the gold with you before clicking through the popups and giving the required items away, otherwise she'll take the items and you'll not be able to create your desired Geostew.

Once she takes the items and gold you'll get your brand new Geostew. Enjoy it!

Lost Mines Walkthrough: Friend to Mining Clan Quest

After talking to the Mining Clan Primogen at Deep Mines is when your quest at the Lost Mines really begins. It mostly involves bringing items to miners and ghosts inside the cave so save up some space in your inventory and get ready for an adventure. It might help to check below the list of all items you'll need for each mine vouncher to avoid having to do multiple runs through the first rooms, which are usually hard to get through.

Getting Mine Voucher 1



1. From Deep Mines head to 000,048 to enter the Supply Tunnel. This room is a mini-maze, to get through it check your mini-map by pressing 'm'. The exit to Supple Cache is also at 000,048.

2. Once you reach the Supply Cache you'll find Supply Sam. Talk to him. He explains that the miners need food supply and will ask for batches of food.



a. First batch is:
  • Boiled fish (10)
  • Large fish (10)
  • Malodorous fish (2)
    		• b. second batch is:
  • Apple (50)
  • Rare pork (50)
  • Fine snake meat (6)
    		• c. third batch is:
  • Fine cloth (20)
  • Mining pick (1)
  • Mining shovel (1)
  • Steel dagger (1)
    		• d. fourth batch is:
  • Water jug (1)

    • Once you give the water jug he'll reward you with Getting Mine Voucher 1.


    Getting Mine Voucher 2
    *Recommended to bring a lantern



    1. From Deep Mines head to 034,069 to enter the South Tunnel. This room is a bit dark, so bringing a lantern is recommended, however not required.

    2. Once there go to 055,098 to reach South Expansion where you'll find Miserable Miner. He explains that he and his friends joined the Mining Clan with high hopes of getting enough gold to start journeys of their own, but when the cave collapsed, they all perished.



    3. Now go back to South Tunnel where you may find the Hopeful Ghost, Frantic Ghost and Egocentric Ghost:

    Hopeful Ghost

    a. At 052,025 you'll find Hopeful ghost. She needs you to bring three items to her:
  • Ancient gown (1) -OR- Ancient robes (1)
  • Ancient helmet (1) -OR- Ancient helm (1)
  • Mud (10)

    Frantic Ghost

    b. At 056,056 you'll find Frantic ghost. He needs you to splash two items on him:
  • Indigo potion (1)
  • Scroll of protection (1)

    Egocentric Ghost

    c. At 004,087 you'll find Egocentric ghost. She's a hungry ghost and need food. Bring her the following:
  • Peas (1)


    4. Once you help all the three ghosts go back to the Miserable Miner at South Expansion and he'll reward you with Getting Mine Voucher 2.


    Getting Mine Voucher 3
    *Recommended to bring a lantern



    1. From Deep Mines head to 069,018 to enter the East Tunnel. This room is a bit dark, so bringing a lantern is recommended, however not required.

    2. Once there go to 058,026 to reach the East Expansion where you'll find LaRockee. He explains that the cave up ahead is all collapsed and that he lost his girlfriend's ring in there. He wants your help to grab it back but in order to do so you'll need to collect some items to forge a Rock hammer.



    a. first batch is:
  • Ginko wood (30)

    Then walk to near the furnaces to get a popup. Once the fire ignites be careful you may get burnt.

    b. second batch is:
  • Coal pieces (5)

    c. Third batch is:
  • Fine metal (10)
  • Ginko wood (2)

    3. Once you get all items in the forge, you'll need to wait for 1 hour for it to be ready. While then LaRockee will take a nap. Once the 1 hour is done, grab your LaRockee's rock hammer.





    4. Equip your rock hammer and walk to 014,008 to enter Eastern Collapse area. Hit the collapsed rocks with your hammer. You'll need the following:

    Clay (10)
    Oily ore (10)
    Rock pieces (10)

    Once you have 10 of each return to LaRockee to receive the Mine vouncher 3.


    Concluding the Quest



    After getting the 3 mine vouchers go back to the Mining Clan Primogen and he'll collect the three vouchers and grant you the following rewards for completing the quest:

  • Friend to the Mining Clan legend mark:

  • Obtain Miner's Collar appropriate to your level:

  • Access through the well that reaches Desolate Mines, the Lost Mines Leech cave.

    Lost In the Mines? Not anymore!

    To enter the Lost Mines go to Woodlands 080,000. If this is your first time going into the Woodlands Lost Mines, here's a scheme map of the areas inside:



    Once inside mine entrance head to 025,010 to enter the inner mines. Once there go to 027,058 to get to the Deep mines where you'll find the Mining Primogen at 025,012.



    He'll tell you that the previous primogen made some mistakes that almost cost the life of everyone in their mining clan and now they're working to fix it.



    From Deep mines you can go to 3 different locations, Supply Tunnel (000 048), South Tunnel (034 069) leading to and East Tunnel (069 018). Each has a different mini-quest that rewards you with a mine vouncher.


    Supply Sam gives:
    Mine vouncher 1

    Miserable Miner gives:
    Mine Voucher 2

    LaRockee gives:
    Mine vouncher 3

    Brave the Lost Mines!

    Grab your dusty mine pick and head to Nagnang Woodlands as the Lost Mines are open for exploration once again.



    To enter the Lost Mines go to Woodlands 080,000, northeast of woodlands lobsters in the mini-map.



    Once inside you'll get your participation legend mark: "Braved Lost Mines (Hyul 94)".



    Remember you can mine near the water area in Inner mines room and Deep mines room, just drop your mining pick on the floor and gain some mining skills while collecting diamonds!

    Miner's Tools For which Mine?

    CoverGirl is announcing the addition of Miner's tools (mantle) and miner's hat (head accessory) on Item Shop Announcements board. However, what's most interesting about her post her first and last phrase which say "I was told you may want these for your next adventure" and "be prepared for rocks", which clearly indicates a Lost Mines event might be coming soon.

    Koguryo's Daeboreum Festival

    On March 3rd the Royal Ministry of Koguryo will be hosting a festival for Daeboreum!


    This festival will only last a day and celebrates the first full moon of the new year. It will consist of a Ritual of Divination and Fortune Revealed by the Royal Diviner, Southwood, and participating Koguryian clans will be hosting open houses, where the Muses will perform skits and dances.

    Tri-Kingdom Tournament

    Yesterday, February 24th at 8pm EST there was a tournament held by Buya and organized by Sansin's Primogen, Chikage.

    The tournament was divided into two matches. The first, the Special Exhibition match comprised of two teams. Representatives of Buya were Queen Lasahn, zoozoo, Bond, Verveine, and Chikage. Koguryo, represented by King Mhul, Klogg, Slowind, Fireelement, and Quav started strong in the first round, but ultimately Buya defeated them in the second and third rounds. There were no restrictions for this unbalanced match other than not being able to use warrior, rogue, or mage orbs.

    The main tournament comprised of four teams of five. Each team was limited to two fighters, two poets, and one mage.

    The first match was between Nagnang's team and Koguryo's first team. Nagnang was represented by Hocari, Bunnyfoofoo, Dreezy, Aphorism, and Deveuster. They defeated Quav, Sweettear, FireElement, Slowind, and AznCloudBoi.

    The second match was between Buya's representatives, Sadiq, Frenya, jaramillo, Arwa, and Chikage. They defeated Koguryo's second team team, Amatus, Turnip, Kraze, Loxie, and Mirari.

    When Nagnang and Buya went to the finals, Buya defeated Nagnang to take home the championship for both the special exhibition match and the main tournament! They received 5m gold each for their efforts and were marked Winner of KSG.

    The night was full of excitement, with a fantastic and large crowd to support their kingdoms. We hope to see more of these tournaments soon!

    Seollal: Lunar New Year

    Today the Kingdoms of the Winds celebrate its Lunar's New Year with arrival of the Earth Dog year.



    Different from the solar (Gregorian) calendar, the lunar calendars have Leap Years about once every 3 years, which instead of adding an extra day, it adds an extra month; that's right 13 months in a year. That's why Fire Rooster year that started on Jan. 29th, 2017 only ended yesterday Feb. 15th, 2018, having a total of 383 days. As you probably know by now, the Luna new year is always represented by one of the 12 mythic animals and one of the 5 "Wu Xing" elements (earth, fire, metal, water and wood). Such year is filled with mysticism and important occurrences as previewed by astrologers from Han Empire:

    According to astrologists of Han Empire, the Year of the Earth Dog will bring refreshment and regeneration, accelerating the initiation of all things. But, this will bring, in the same time, pressure and stress in the everyday life. Postponing and negligence are words will need to be removed from your vocabulary, as it will be very good year regarding the financial aspects. It will be good year in all respects, but it will also be an exhausting year. You will be happy, yet frustrated, rested, yet tired, cheerful, yet dull. It's a year when hard work shall be recognized. Curiosity: The last Earth Dog year was in 1958.

    Server Reset: Valentine's Season begins

    Earlier today a minor server reset removed the Winter Wonderland and Nightmareland areas and snow melted out of the kingdoms. With the snow melted, the kingdoms were swarmed by thousands of butterflies, but worry not, as usual they're harmless.



    If you say you love these butterflies, they'll fly away rewarding you with a variety of valentine's gifts. Here's the list of what they give:

  • Chocolate cake - Gives you 100% vita fill

  • Chocolate heart - Share a kiss with person in front of you

  • Red Candy Box - Dance with person in front of you

  • Valentine Chocolate - Gives you 100% mana fill

  • Valentines Flower - For holding on right hand (weapon)

    Along with that the only other known update was to Imperial Runway Foyer in Buya, whose models have been wearing new valentine's kruna clothes as shown below.
