Nagnang's Attack
Posted by: Loxie -- 4:44 AM EST

ChaeRi posted on the Chronicles of the Winds, now declaring that their attack wasn't a blood thirsty attempt at revenge, daring people to poke him more. (Maybe with a pole, he's kind of gruesome looking...)

Let me be the first to say this was not about bloodthirsty
revenge. This is not about what happened terribly long ago
before I walked these lands.

This was a result of the constant disrespect shown to us by
our neighbors to the north. They taunt us and lay claims of
weakness. They show blatant insult by their disregard to
tread more carefully.

This was a show of Nagnang's power.

What we are capable of is more than a tiny incursion into
your homeland. Tension will remain high from this point
forth. A little blood-play and now Nagnang is invigorated
once more. Poke the beast one more time, I dare you.

Prince ChaeRi

Queen Lasahn, after her previous declaration of breaking the Kugnae-Buya treaty, had a lashing to give to ChaeRi. Seems he's not up to Royal standards!

I expected better from you. You speak of disrespect, but your recent actions have not earned but rather lost you the respect of many, myself included. You show not your strength but your insecurity and cowardice, invading a country over alleged insults. Indeed we will tread more carefully, for you have trampled Nagnang's honor so thoroughly today that if we do not step lightly we may kill it forever.

The alliance of Yuri 36 may be broken, but Buya will not tolerate brutal and unjustified incursions into our neighbors' lands, regardless of the perpetrators. Respect for each kingdom's sovereignty is paramount. If you insist on following your foolhardy course of bloodshed, Buya will not stand aside. And if you dare to invade the territory of Buya in a "show of strength," you may find yourself a homeless mercenary again when Buya seeks its justice.

Koguryo-Buya Alliance Dissolves
Posted by: Loxie -- 12:17 AM EST

In the face of Nangen whining, Lasahn announced the dissolution of the Koguryo-Buya alliance on the CotW. Here is what she posted:

~| A Message from the Imperial Sovereignty of Buya |~

In Yuri 36, faced with a new and sometimes host-
ile relationship with Nagnang, the kingdoms of
Buya and Koguryo entered into an alliance oblig-
ging each to present a unified front with regard
to Nagnang. Given the political climate of the
time, this alliance made sense. Although Buya and
Koguryo had their differences, we could be united
in this regard.

Now many decades have passed, and the relations
between Buya and Nagnang have improved and been
clarified. There is no longer any reason for my
nation to automatically prefer one foreign power
over another in international conflicts. Thus,
in consultation with the Imperial Ministry, I
have chosen to withdraw from and so nullify the
Buya-Koguryo Alliance of Yuri 36.

Henceforth, Buya shall choose its position in
conflicts based on its own national interests
and not on the obligations of an outdated treaty.
This should not in any way be seen as a sign of
hostility or lessened affection for our friends
in Koguryo, but rather as an overdue adjustment
in Buyan policy. Nor should it be seen as cond-
oning the recent actions of Nangen nationalists
in Masan or elsewhere. Buya will oppose unjust
violence, especially against innocents, even if
we have no legal obligation to do so.

Buya does not seek conflict with any nation and
under my leadership we have sought to avoid it
whenever possible. We !will! fight when our own
defense or interests demand it, and we will not
be walked over or abused without responding, but
from now on we will choose our own battles.

A War Has Begun...
Posted by: Elarra -- 9:49 PM EST

Hello Citizens!

It seems that there may be a war upon us. Tonight, only moments ago, Prince Chaeri ordered an attack on Kugnae.

In anticipation of the attack, some Kogurians took it upon themselves to 'visit' the Nagnang Treasury. When word was out, Kugnae, its army, clans, and citizens stood ready to receive the mighty Nagnang.

Nagnang, Kugnae, and Buyan citizens and soldiers were fighting one another in southern Koguryo. Slowly, the battle then moved towards Kugnae palace.

It was a blood bath! Even Prince Chaeri himself was not spared the sword. Many citizens banned together to defend their nation against one another.

But why? Nagnang claims Kugnae owes them for an invasion that cost them countless lives many Yuris ago. With this in mind, they decided it'd only be fair to steal blood from Kugnae until their demands are not only heard, but met. Minister Koohwen began summoning the dead from their peaceful slumber to attack on her behalf.

After the large, yet short, battle, Nagnang retreated back to their palace with blood on their hands and nothing more. Kugnae remains intact, but worn out from the brutal attack. It seems that Nagnang has grown a bit stronger since the last bout.

Who will win this battle? With Buya hiding, will this make the outcome different? Who will attack next? Will Chaeri get Hiko's weapon removed from his chest? Only time will tell! Keep checking for updates!

The Golden Bunny Quest & Chicken or Egg riddle walkthrough
Posted by: Vini -- 11:15 PM EST

Looks like Archon Help Day left someone broken hearted! Poor little Golden Bunny is feeling blue; he's got Honey Bunny on his mind and in his heart, but they will never meet again unless you lend a hand! Will these two furry creatures live happily ever after, or are they destined to wander alone wondering what might have been?...
Extracted from Whispering Winds board.

It seems that the Golden Bunny is forbidden to enter Mythic Rabbit cave unless he can bring Juicy Carrots to the “Mean Mr. Boss Bunny” who wants the Golden Bunny to prove himself before he can enter the cave and be with his beloved Honey Bunny.

The Golden Bunny’s problem is: the easiest way to obtain Juicy Carrots in the lands lie at the green grass fields of Mythic Rooster cave and as it’s well known rabbits and roosters don’t get well along in Mythic, so It’s not like Golden Bunny can go and fetch it…. But you can!

Your quest, if you choose to accept it, is quite simple. All you have to do to help the Golden Bunny is to go to Mythic Rooster cave and fetch a Juicy Carrot from Ms. Chick Boss who can be found quite near the exit of the rooster cave.

So here’s what you need to do:

1. Go Mythic Rabbit cave and talk to the Honey Bunny at first room.
2. Go outside and talk to the Golden Bunny.
3. Now head to Mythic Rooster cave and ask Ms. Chick Boss for a Juicy Carrot.
4. That’s it!

Wait, what? Ms. Chick Boss won’t give you the Juicy Carrot to any outsiders? How come? Slay it and take by force then…. No?

Oh… yes, yes. Ms. Chick Boss can make an exception if you help solve the quarrel (and riddle) between the Chicken and the egg about who came first. If you solve this unsolvable riddle she’ll give you a Juicy carrot.

So who came first? Chicken or egg? Do you know the answer?.........Neither does the Ms. Chick Boss. She actually explains she has been trying to find the answer to this riddle for ages but the spiritual knowledge of how life start and what death is, she doesn’t seem to understand much of concepts.

Well who understands about it then? Shamans of course!
Your quest now just got a bit longer as you’ll have to visit all 5 kingdom shamans (2 in Koguryo, 2 in Buya and 1 at Nagnang) and the 3 visage shamans which are located at each of the Rogue guilds. You can do the at any order but this is the one suggested to save walking:

a. Visit Dusk Shaman near Koguryo west gate, north of the butcher.
b. Visit Pearl at Koguryo’s Rogue Guild, south to west gate.
c. Visit Dawn Shaman near Koguryo east gate, north of Tree of Reflections.
d. Visit Onyx at Buya’s Rogue Guild, just next to Buya west gate.
e. Visit Felis Shaman to east of Buya Haunted House.
f. Visit Storm Shaman to north of Buya Arena.
g. Visit Mountain Shaman to northwest of Nagnang south gate.
h. Visit Diamond at Nagnang’s Rogue Guild to west of Mountain Shaman.

Each time you visit one of these shamans you’ll get a Silver Thread piece and a slightly karma raise. Once you get 8 Silver thread pieces (and 8 karma raises) it is time them to find a way to bond these pieces together so you can summon the Mother Shaman. To do that you must head to Tangun.

5. Visit the Place of Healing, a tent at southwest of Tangun Village (005,140) and speak with Kon-gang as she knows much about Life and Death.
6. Click her and choose “Kon-gang’s Contribution”. She’ll explain that she doesn’t know the answer of who came first (Egg or Chicken) but wil lend you a Mini Big Cauldron for you to mix all the Silver thread pieces you’ve just collected.
7. Use create system to mix the Mini Big Cauldron with the 8 Silver Thread Pieces you collected. You’ll then summon the Mother Shaman.
8. Ask her about solving the riddle and she’ll explain that the answer to the question isn’t egg or chicken. The right answer in fact is: Pixel
9. Now that you know the answer to the riddle go back to the Rooster inside Mythic Rooster cave and click it again. Choose “Juice Carrot Reward” and answer the riddle.
10. The Rooster will call you a Genius (although it was the Mother Shaman who gave you the right answer) and reward you with the juicy carrot.
11. Go back outside to and walk north to reach the Golden Bunny. Click him and choose “Bunny’s paradise”.
12. Turn in the Juicy Carrot, make the bunny happy and get a Bunny’s amber reward. You’ll also get a new legend mark which says: "Solved an unsolvable riddle!"

Congratulations!

Oh! Wait. You’re curious to know what Bunny’s amber is for, aren’t you?

When used the Bunny amber casts a random Fireworks effect Master. Don’t worry about using it since it doesn’t disappear and can be reused every 10-15 Minutes. Fun isn’t it? Just be careful to cause fire. You wouldn’t want to be convicted for arson would you?

Multi-Bank Cataloger: Dragonshrine Banker
Posted by: Vini -- 11:55 PM EST

Do you have trouble searching through many character banks to find how many items you have or which of them has which items stored?

Well, Ryka did and she decided to create a new tool’s website for her and for other nexus members to browse through the banked items in a much easier way. It’s called the Dragonshrine Banker.

How does it work?
On the left you type in a character name and click "Catalog me".

Once you click it will go to your user page on nexustk and grab all the items that you have deposited in your bank and add them to list on the right. You can easily search through the characters items you have cataloged on the right by typing in a search string such as "amber". This will return all your characters that have anything named "amber". So yellow ambers, dark ambers all will show as well as their amount.

And if you leave the page and come back the names that you have cataloged previously will still be there!

If you like it, perhaps you would like to drop Ryka a letter letting her know this new tool was useful to you and if you have ideas to add to that, I'm sure she'll enjoy.

Posted by: Vini -- 12:54 AM EST

There was a leadership shift at Nagnang Ministry last wednesday. Minister Thameus has stepped down after 6 Hyuls (8 months) of service to Nagnang kingdom under Prince ChaeRi.

The new nangen Minister is Koohwen, a shaman from Alizarin clan who has served Nagnang Eternal Order and army before.

NexusAtlas congratulates Minister Koohwen on his newly achieved position and thanks Thameus for his service to Nexus community.

Nexus Ads on the streets!
Posted by: Vini -- 9:52 PM EST

Those of you who visited KRU's official website last week might have found out that in the Press Releases page of the company they posted a very interesting sneakpeek of what will be the largest marketing move ever made for the Kingdom of Winds.

The Press Release note reveals that in efforts to promote Baram and Nexus TK worldwide, Kru Interactive and Nexon Inc. joined forces and will start advertising the game through the main english speaking cities, such as New York, London, Toronto and Sidney and then spread through other main cities of these countries.

These are the three street Ad pieces that have been opened to public, but as mentioned on the site, there's more to come, so stay tuned to their main page as well as Nexus TK official website.

Horray!

April Fool's Quest for the Golden Bowl - Walkthrough
Posted by: Loxie -- 9:09 PM EST

As previously mentioned, a squirrels and equilibrium and something quest is available for your enjoyment! Plenty of potty humor can be found in Buya. (Buya, toilet... Makes sense!) Here is the quest walkthrough:

1. Visit and agree to help the Shackled Potter at south gate Buya.

2. When he asks who can help he escape from his situation, pick third option down: "Yunsil".

3. Then visit Yunsil's tavern and click her and ask about a "Super Emergency".

4. Collect 5 Peanuts, 5 Hazelnuts and 5 Walnuts from the funny nut creatures running around.

5. Return to Yunsil and get the nut oil.

6. Return to the Shackled Potter and hear him out. You'll soon realize that he might not be willing to give you the Golden Bowl of Tranquility so you know have 4 options of how to act:

a. You can decide to go brutal and "tear it from his arms and emit a victorious cry"

b. You can decide to be a thief and "sweet-talk him into slumber and slyly steal it".
c. You can decide to be charible and "kindly tell Potter that he can keep the bowl".
d. You can decide to gamble and "offer Potter to /roll for it".

Each option above give you the Golden Bowl of Tranquility and Glorious Ribbon. Wait, what??

Golden Bowl of Tranquility stats

Durability: 4012014 (4.01.2014)
Armor: -4
Hit: 1
Dam: 1

Special thanks to Dippie for providing information to this walkthrough, Murica for providing the stats of the "Golden bowl" a.k.a "Toilet" and Eungi for pointing out that the item durability is in fact today's date.

Squirrels of NexusTk vs. Mental Equilibrium
Posted by: Loxie -- 9:04 PM EST

The ever-industrious squirrels of NexusTK seem to be rather organized these days. Could there be an underlying cause for this sudden increase in squirrelly activity, or is it just another April Fool's imposter with aims to entrap innocent citizens... There's only one way to be sure.
