The Muses Bring Color!
Posted by: AznCloudBoi -- 8:20 PM EST

The Muse have always been very creative in their techniques of creating colorful dyes for the community. With the recent update, they are now able to dye the community in colors we have been dreaming for years: Star, Moon, Sun, and Grey (Many shades of Grey).

This is a very nice addition for the community and also gives people a bit choices in individuality. Make sure to be very courteous when asking for a dye!

Thank you to Sondok, Aviva, and the Muse path!

More About Deathbane Pirates & ChenLee
Posted by: Vini -- 6:45 PM EST

Yesterday while most of the community was occupied fighting off the pirates attacking Gogoon Island, an unnoticed post went by on Whispering Winds board which introduces why Captain ChenLee and the Deathbane pirates decided to attack Gogoon out of a sudden. Here's a copy of the post:

BOARD TITLE: Whispering Winds
FROM: Yondung DATE: 5/28
SUBJECT: A Sea of Turmoil

Seafarers are protesting the taxation of the Yellow Sea trade routes imposed by the Han Empire to all vessels sailing the area. A convoy of merchant ships has instated a blockade to all shipping to the region. A series of violent retributions began to outbreak on salt waters and pacts of non-interference have been broken.

Taking advantage of the chaotic scenario, the pirate captain ChenLee ordered the greedy Deathbane Pirates to ransack unprotected areas.

If anyone was able to take a screenshot of ChenLee please send it our way so we can post on news.

Pirates Attack Gogoon Island!
Posted by: AznCloudBoi -- 6:21 PM EST

A distress signal for S.O.S was sent out by a vessel near Gogoon and was received by Oceana's Navy. The pirates have landed on Gogoon and are beginning their attack!

Heroes of the kingdom quickly came to the aid of the locals on Gogoon as throngs of pirates continue their assault.

Eventually, The Pirate Captain ChenLee saged that they were retreating after a few words with Barbarian Elder Skogul.

Those that have aided the locals of Gogoon was rewarded with a legend mark after killing a decent amount of Pirates (cutthroats, maruaders, swashbucklers, and commanders) after speaking with Temanava (West Gogoon - Say "Mark").

((At this moment, the pirates have stopped spawning; so those that missed the event might not be able complete the quest))

New Leadership in the Kingdoms!
Posted by: AznCloudBoi -- 2:51 PM EST

In the past month, there has been a shift in leadership for a few clans in the kingdoms. Congratulations to Akiudo (Silla) and Funfo (Forsaken). Hope both clans continue to prosper and grow!

Dear all,

Since becoming primogen of Silla again my aim is to start meeting the expectations of players within Nexus. I want to understand what players want from being in a clan and then do my very best to deliver that for everyone.

We specialise in Vortex 3 bossing where we will be conducting vortex boss hunts for clan members should they wish to partake. We have all of the standard crafting options most clans offer with buybacks to suit almost everyone and an active family of clan members who are very welcoming.

If anyone has any questions in regards to the Silla Clan please get in touch, I will be happy to hear from you.

Best regards,
- Akiudo

The Legend of the Sacred Mountain
Posted by: Vini -- 10:10 PM EST

A couple hours ago many people who were at different parts of Kugnae claimed to have felt a strange rush of wind passing through them and flowing towards Kugnae Library. People followed wind flow to the library and there they found a new Legend revealed by Spirit Guide Yondung.

The new Legend is about 'The Sacred Mountain', which seems to be a story about the formation of Mt. Baekdu. As Kugnae library has sold out on legend scrolls, here's a copy of the legend as posted by Yondung:

BOARD TITLE: Legend
FROM: Yondung DATE: 2/6
SUBJECT: The Sacred Mountain
Throughout the years many stories have been told about the utmost importance of an ever-white mountain to the existence and survival of our people. While there are many tales and myths involving the sacred mountain, most of them have always been disconnected from one another. Though, recently some scholars have found and translated some partial old scripts found in Buya Library and Kugnae Library that had very similar records. Both versions express the legends about how ancient tribes united to form the first Kingdom of The Winds after the Gods saved them from the destruction.

According to the legends, the constant struggle and battles for power between those tribes awoke a huge dragon living in the highest peak of their known land. In its wrath, the dark dragon appeared in the sky and blocked water routes, drying up the land. While most individuals tried to escape their certain death by fleeing the dangerous area, a valiant woman convinced the mightiest warrior in the lands to climb up the mountains to fight the mean-spirited dragon. Despite their efforts to reach the crowning point, they were too late and soon a dark smoke enclouded the mountains. Fire began emerging from the ground and when both encountered themselves in a situation of near death, the man sacrificed himself to save the person he most admired.

It is believed that such sacrifice inspired the Gods to intervene and blessed the woman with the power of wind-warping. After then, the winds around the mountain shifted directions and start blowing towards the mountain covering it in snow and forming a lake in the top. The cold of the ever-snowing mountain keeps the dragon forever sleeping inside it and that brought peace to the warring tribes.

While the legends of the sleeping dragon may only be a myth, this whitehead mountain is known nowadays as Mount Baekdu, a dormant volcano mountain covered by snow. It is revered for its unique natural phenomenon in which a cone of cold winds from all directions blows from the sky keeping the upper parts of the mountain cold throughout the entire year. On the summit of the mountain, it formed a large caldera lake, known as the Cheonji, also called - the "Heaven Lake". While the lake water is usually cold, there is a small part of the mountain where a waterfall bleeds hot springs, rumored to have healing powers.

- Spirit Guide

While the Legend may seem to point out to the direction of a new area in the kingdoms, Mt. Baekdu is a place where many of us has visited already.

This was back during Hyul 31, when Abu rebeled against other immortals, killed Archons and banished Mug. As one of the few who survived Abu's attack, Dalnum shouted through the lands and called everyone to reach her at Baekdu mountain where mortals would be able to reach the closest to immortal's realm and help empower Mug to fight again.

Back then a warp was available through the Great Gates in the Vale to send people to the peak of the mountain where looking to what the legend describes as "a large caldera lake known as Cheonji".

Soon after reading the new legend people started gathering at the Great Gate since it was the last known connection to Baekdu Mountain and they found out that the gate is now closed and locked, after years of it being open (and leading nowhere).

If you have any addition information that can be related to this please let us know so we can share it with Nexus Atlas readers. A special thanks to Lorima for sharing images of the wind messages.
