The Gods have heard our prayers. There is a special treat for the anniversary, as posted by mir. If you have friends wanting to try Nexus soonish is the time!

For this year's anniversary, we have the usual Wisdom Star, Wisdom Clothes, Anniversary Swords, and Fireworks.
Asmodi & Iron Hands Part. 2 will start right after the anniversary.
What's different this year is:
- Level 98 and below will receive double exp. on top of the WS. (4X).
- Opening of Tangun: At level 5, the inn NPC can send you out. (Tangun might stay open after the anniversary, or will close and reopen after the possible glitches are ironed out)
- Anniversary play: During the anniversary, a special NPC will be available in Tangun that will let unregistered characters play Nexus without any restrictions for free, for 5 days.
All of us are quite nervous about letting unregistered players roam Nexus freely with no restrictions. We are doing it since this will greatly help us plan for the future. Please do not exploit or abuse the possible bugs and glitches, but report them. |

More Bans today

It seems as a third round of bans occurred today. This ban was on trending topics of Nexus' grey pigeons messages. 
Such was mostly because the player who was banned today gained fame through a lot of controversy over the past years.
Eggio had already been banned and purged on April 2013, but somehow managed to find his way back being unbanned a year ago and even changed his name to Egg. Since the return "Egg" has helped multiple people to do the Hamgyong Nam-Do quests needed for Sa san therefore became even more "popular". Yet, behind such good deeds, seems Egg was exploiting the system on various violations. Today the confirmation of his ban and people who dared to try to hide his traces confirms what most players have been hoping for: justice may have been late, but has been served.

TK Roleplay Initiative

A group of players decided to get involved in the community in an effort to ease boredom, increase spontaneous roleplay, and encourage interacting one-on-one with other players. Here is their statement.
TK Roleplay Initiative
Our goal is to increase community involvement by creating spontaneous, interactive, and fun roleplay events.
We encourage all members of the community, regardless of path or prior role play experience, to join in this exciting new endeavor! With your help we will have the tools to make all of our game play experiences substantially more enjoyable AND inspire new players to become contributing members of our community.
All we ask from you is a little time and creativity!
Along with these impromptu interactions, we will begin hosting weekly RP events following our next meeting. We would love for you to be part of the planning process but you are also welcome to jump in at any point and participate.
For the time being our roleplay activities will take place within Tangun so that all players have access. But, being founded on ideas of flourishing growth, we are looking forward to expanding and watching a web of intertwined stories build across the kingdoms.
Please join us as we dive into this adventure!

It looks like The Head of KRU has began doing as he promised: banning botters and dupers forever.
As posted on Scum board, the first one to have a permanent ban was Flake & All alts for knowingly and actively assisting illegal asset laundering.

Dano Festival Results!

Vini says I have one more story to write before I can go home. He tells me the Dano festival was a huge success, with lots of the community, all the Koguryo clans, the army and with ministry organizations, and even the Royal Family arriving!
It seems there was an attempted attack on the Princes and Queen Yun. All three survived, but retired for the evening. The festivities continued with King Mhul arriving later that night.
The ministry appreciates all the people who came to support Koguryo during the festival, and we hope you enjoy your new fans!

At first I didn't like them because they look a little bit scary and also some of them were trying to hold my arms (too tightly) and hung on my back while I was working, but as we spent more time together in my office I realized they are very friendly. You will love them too. They will follow you everywhere you go.

Wony's Apology & Warning

Earlier this morning, Head GM Wony posted on Dream Weaver's board an apology to honest players & a warning about botters and cheaters. Here is a copy of his post:

I sincerely apologize for letting some of the banned botters and dupers back to Nexus. Someone in our company did this during my absence while I was pursuing my personal projects. That person is no longer with us. Nonetheless, I take the full responsibility.
Now feeling the heat, the cheaters are trying to relocate or launder their money and items, or offer their final fake generosity to other people while they can. Please do not accept or interact with them. Our aim is removing the core cancer cells, not the healthy but affected cells. I beg you not to catch our attention regarding this, or worse, catch any stray bullets when we clean up the streets. Let the filth vanish, and let's restore the wonderful community we so fondly remember and miss, together.

An important thing to keep in mind is that this warning to not interact with botters and dupers is no excuse for people to start pointing fingers and harass others. If you suspect someone is involved in such illegal activities (botting and duping) this what you should do:
Submit a ticket to Kru Support with information and evidences to explain why you think/know someone has done it.
If someone makes a too generous offer of donating money and items which you seem to suspect, either refuse the offer or if you have accepted already, perhaps a good idea would be to submit a ticket to Kru saying what did you receive and from who. They'll be able to check if was a legit item or not.

Client Patch to Nexus V7.23

About 4 hours ago, when most people were still asleep, GM Mir had a new reset to the servers to introduce a client patch to Nexus version 7.23.

Basically this is how Heroes list works now. It's a mix of the old system we've been used for years and the new one.
On Koguryo, Buya, Nagnang and Neutral tab it will show everyone who is online despite of which server they are in. But then, how will people know who is in the same server as them, in case they need to summon someone, or know how many people would listen to their sage? Simple! GM Mir added a new tab on heroes list called 'Neighborhood' which shows everyone, despite of nationality who is in the same server as you.
So, as an example on image above, LinuxKiddy lives in Koguryo like me so he was showing up in the general listing, but he was in Buya server and I was in Koguryo's, therefore he wasn't showing up in my list.
While if you notice on Rogue's list still, Phiirosan is not kogurian, he's buyan in fact, but he was at Koguryo server at the time of the screenshot, therefore showed up at the same neighborhood tab as me, despite of being from a different nationality.
Such change to heroes list is the perfect mix of both old and new system which shall be very helpful to hunts, events, meetings and more.

New General of Buya Army

Yesterday, after 6 Hyuls ahead of the buyan army, Teto has stepped down from his position and appointed PiFF to be the new General of BIA.
PiFF has been a soldier of Buya for many years and served most of this time as an officer, being Field Commander his latest and longest position in the army.
"I hope to bring wonderful possibilities back to the Buya Army, beginning with enlistment and readmittance", said the General.
Nexus Atlas congratulates General PiFF on his new position and wishes good luck on his new duties. Also a special thanks to Teto for his services to Buya and Nexus community overall.

On a quiet Friday evening a world shout by Druid Elder reveals out a very important message:
"Thank you, GM Wony, for your dreams post. You give us hope".
And without surprising us anymore, the Supreme GM Wony actually replied to her world shout with a shout of his own:
"Thank you, Foxfire. I meant every word of it".

New Patch introduces "Party Search Function"

Within the newest Server & Client patch to NexusTK version 7.22 you will find that seeking hunts is now easier than ever!. With the newest addition to the "Heroes" List that is available via the Ctrl + W function, you can turn "Party Search On/Off" and also see a list only of people seeking for a hunt.
BOARD TITLE: Dream Weaver

Hunt search option added to the heroes list
- Click the hunter to read introduction (in chat space)
- Double click the hunter to whisper
- You name will remain in hunters list for 30 mins or until deactivated. |
To indicate you want to are looking for a hunt group simply 'check' the "I'M LOOKING FOR HUNT" feature at the bottom, right-hand side, near the close button.
'Check'," Put me on the hunters list" option!
Then fill in your name or your guidelines for a hunt; Ie. "Ee San Mage seeks hunt", or your level, or your stats, or your preferred caves or simply your name if you're shy. Basically what this message will do is anytime someone clicks once in your name at heroes list it will show them your hunting preferences. If you click twice it will prompt you to whisper them, like it has always been before.
If you're feeling brave or spontaneous and are looking for a hunt, use the ctrl+w feature to find other possible matching swords. See below for the icon to look for to know who is also seeking hunt groups.

Should you left-mouse-click the icon and wait a moment a message shall appear in your chat screen. This option allows you to "double-click" or "whisper/communicate" with the person! *All laws and regulations apply*.

No Wish to Hunt? No problem, simply Ctrl+W and check "off" the "I'M LOOKING FOR HUNT" option!
The only change that wasn't super helpful was that now every person only is showing on the heroes list, not just the ones on same server as you. This is very helpful for hunting, but also very confusing for all other things we were used to: example - now we cannot know how many people can read a sage because we don't know who is on our server. Perhaps the best solution would be to implement an option to view both types of list: see everyone who is in your server first and replace the useless "Gogoon" tab with "All people online list".

Magalod Invasion!

King ChaeRi called upon the Nangen people to join his Royal Guard on their mission to invade Malgalod and teach them a lesson they wouldn't soon forget.
King ChaeRi saged: "Show your face General, or be labeled a coward.
Unfortunately, the invading King and army soon met with a surprisingly huge force and faced innumerable enemies before finally tasting their blades as well as death.
General GongsunDu saged: "You can't even handle my weakest Soldiers."
King ChaeRi later saged: "All Nangen Soldiers return to base, we've suffered a set back."

Note: There was an instance when archons mass-spawned the Malgalod Warriors for RP purposes and accidentally turned on Non-PK death and many people lost many valuable items. King ChaeRi asks that if you were a part of his invasion and did lose an item, please be honest and send him a nmail with those items.

New Alizarin Primogen

Alizarin's beloved Primogeness since Huyl 45, Lizette, retired this past week and has chosen her replacement - Primogen Phillies.

Lizette was thankful to have had such a great time as Primogeness and is looking forward to her retirement! She is certain that Phillies will do a great job in succeeding her and continuing to care for the Alizarinites as much as she always has.
Phillies, a council member for many huyls, is excited to take on this position as well as the responsibility that comes along with it and will try to do his best for the Alizarin Clan.
We wish Lizette a happy retirement with much relaxation and we wish Phillies a Big Congradulations and goodluck on his future journey as Primogen!

Friday morning quick server reset

Nexus servers had a quick reset this morning when GM Mir announced he had also fixed the Users Page automated updates. The users pages were having issues for few weeks now, but since yesterday evening have been updating properly 3 in 3 hours again. Another new patch~ V.7.20
|
Nexus client patch was introduced this morning to update Nexus to version 7.20. Most of the visible changes brought by this new patch and server reset occurred at the new land now called: Malgalod instead of "manchuria".
((Malgal tribes are the ancestors of the Jurchens, modern-day Manchus. According to records 8 tribes gave origins to the Malgal: Sumo, Baishan, Yilou(Yulou), Boduo, Funie, Tieli, Yuexi and Heishui)).

Manchuria updated with the new name, Malgalod.
Replaced spell casting orbs, with the new ones:
- Orb of Paralyze Ripple : Paralyzes surrounding monsters of friend
- Orb of Whirlwind Ripple: Double Whirlwind, front and back (leaves 10% vita, regardless of alignment)
- Orb of Lethal Strike Ripple: Double Lethal Strike, front and back
- Orb of ASV: ASV one cast
- Orb of Restore: Restore aether reduced in half
Loosened up the area, no BOD, no PK, weaker mobs added.
Insignia requirement for the orb has been cut in half, but gold required, with or without the Big Malga. (Old Insignias and Manchu are accepted but can't be used combined with the new ones)
Monsters only targeting switched to friends only targeting.
Minor fixes for clans.

People no longer have to fear being murdered by other players when fighting against the Malgal tribes. Dying at Malgalod will make you lose experience and cause damage to your equipment still, but doesn't seem to cause break on death anymore.
A new type of enemy can be found at the area called "Malgal guards" they seem to be weaker than the Malgal Soldier and Malgal Warlord.
  
It seems the Wandering spirit (which are in fact mermaids in a water bubble) located from each kingdom has been
moved to the Malgalod area:
