Maya's Night

Hello!
Allow me to introduce myself, my name is BaByBoy Hegtoleu, I’m a man who owns a few hats you can say, I’m currently the Royal Prime Minister of Koguryo, Primarch for the Bear Clan of Koguryo, Poet Tutor and a wandering Monk. As well as, your newest reporter for Nexus Atlas!
It is with great sadness I must come to report further on the departure of our of dearest friend, sensei, and mother to some, Maya.
This last Sunday, June 13th, 8:00pm [EST] a few members of the community came together to create a beautiful memorial, “Maya’s Night”. It took place in one of the many favorite locations Maya loved, River Arena.

We all would like to thank the Immortals for their assistance during all this, along with the many mortals that helped organize such a touching event.
Happy Birthday Maya, forever in our hearts.

Maya's memorial in Kugnae will be a permanent addition so those who knew her can keep her memory alive. The coats (Her Mourning Rose/His Mourning Rose) are temporary. |
As you can see below, GM mir has also introduced to the Kugnae area outside of Sun Moon Clan garden, a permanent wandering NPC with likeness of Maya, accompanied by wandering black and white foxes, indicating her fondness of fox hunts. When speaking the phrase "Happy Birthday Maya" you will be granted karma, reportedly once per week.

Hey folks!
Many hearts of Nexus players have been broken by the news of the passing of Maya.

A long time member and late Primogen of Sun Moon Sect, and an inspiring guide of the Monk subpath, Maya was seen as an amazingly kind and patient soul, beloved by a multitude of people over decades of service to the Nexus community and beyond. This reporter is humbled by the magnificent amount of grace exhibited by her presence. Many others will have stories to share in remembrance of Maya for the foreseeable future.
An estimated 390 characters were counted among those gathering for Rememberance within the entrance of Sun Moon Hall, which is currently still open to the public.
GM mir was gracious enough to appear and install a beautiful golden tree beside Travel NPC Slowly and a bonfire in Maya's notorious "spot" in Sun Moon Hall.
Some additional requests are being discussed by those close to Maya, with reasonable recommendations from plenty of her acquaintances.
Presently over twenty characters have posted with respectful intent, in which two of the following have been highlighted on Community board:

(( Maya - Real name Kimberly, Passed away June 1st at night, peacefull in her sleep.
I spoke to her father on the phone and he informed me of this.. He is deeply deeply heart broken and is not sure what hes going to do, but he sincerely appreciates everybody caring so much for his daughter even if you never met her.
If there is anybody who would like to send condolences to her family, please contact me.

Memorial to Maya
As the days fade and the nights begin,
We cannot stop the pain within.
The denial and crying consumes us all,
But the tears, they continue to fall.
We take this day, the Nineth of June,
To memorialize Maya, taken far too soon.
Instead of speaking of the present,
Of Maya's past, we shall vent.
Days go by, and Maya gets another Birthday wish
But the wish we all want is far too selfish.
We laugh and talk and smile together
Alas, the mood is gloomy from now until forever.
Her leadership and mother-like reputation
Deserves to be recognized without hesitation.
The joy she brings us and the love she gives,
Her memories in our hearts, forever it lives.
Her fearless character and mind full of wisdom,
Are stored in our hearts we all call a prison.
Her honesty and silliness are a reason to smile,
However, this day, has nothing but denial.
She treated us like her children and nurtured us all,
With her strength and her bravery, She seems ten feet tall.
Although her story ends, her legend shall stay true
With a smile on our face, tears come through.
The night fades and begins another day, full of sorrow,
Happy Birthday Today....and Tommorow.

A memorial service is being arranged for this Sunday, June 13th, 8 PM EST
Smokester has asked for any concerned individuals to contact her with respectful regards to her family, to inform them of how much Maya has impacted the lives of Nexus players.
On June 12th, the Koguryo Monastery arranged for the community to help them construct a Mandala with items symbolic of their memories of and feelings for Maya.

New Nagnang General and Ranger Elder

Hey folks!
Last Wednesday evening during the Nagnang Tribunal, there was an announcement that dee, General of Royal Guard of Nagnang for many Hyuls now, has decided to pass the torch to Lt. General Heira.
The transition of leadership was marked with a special Sacrificial Giveaway arranged by Sage YongSu and Eternal Order of Nagnang, held within Memory Garden as a community event.
Also, more recently, it was announced that Rangers gathered in their Circle to commemorate Ranger Medal of Honor recipients JosephKim, Kabob and modocon for their accomplishments and contributions to the Ranger path.
Furthermore, Baik declared that Kabob would ascend to Ranger Elder! Kabob had this statement about the transition:
It is truly an honor to step into the role as Elder of the Ranger subpath. Baik has done an incredible job revitalizing the Path to its former glory and it is my intent to carry on the Path's legacy into the future.
Congratulations to Heira and Kabob on their new positions of leadership, and thank you dee and Baik for your years of service to the community!
