Temple Skies/Shattered Ruins Closed - Blue Flame Boxes Now Opening!

While the Temple Skies and Shattered ruins are currently closed you can now turn in Blue Flame boxes by going to Truhleptuurumpass in the Taalyeein village (he's in top right corner). You will be given a ticket and a time to pick up your item!

Due to the heavy work load and demand for his service, Truhleptuurumpass has notified us that his service charge and wait time for opening BlueFlame Boxes can fluctuate throughout the day.
- Temple Skies and Shattered Ruins closed.
- BF boxes can be opend.
- Damaged orbs cost has increased from 1 Day coin to 2.
- Daily coins can be traded for now. Let's see how this goes.
- Temp house coupons can be purchased from WoonSoo, 8 Daily coins.
The items list that can come out of BF boxes hasn't changed. I was tempted to change some of them, but decided that this time it would be best that we would stick to the original list that everybody assumed how it would be.
Far more boxes have been released than we anticipated and I am concerned that this may negatively impact Nexus economy and item status, but again we are staying with the original list, unless something really bad happens.
Thank you for your warm support and input despite the glitches and bumps and the fact not everybody was entirely happy with it. I truly appreciate it and learned a lot while working on it. Hopefully we will do much better next time.

New Koguryo Prime Minister

A few nights ago after a Joint Patrol with the Navy, Koguryo Royal Army and Royal Guard of Nagnang a duel occurred between the late Koguryo Prime Minister Mirfors and the Nagnang General Neji. After an intense fight and in a sad turn of events it was Koguryo's own Prime Minister Mirfors who ended up falling in battle. Neji has been held in Koguryo's Palace Jail and is awaiting trial after his most recent interrogation.
At last night's tribunal King Mhul offered the position to Interm Prime Minister Fayebelle who graciously accepted to continue the role and is now Koguryo's Newest Prime Minister!

Citizens of Koguryo,
It is with a heavy heart that I accept the responsibility
of Prime Minister of Koguryo. Prime Minister Mirfors
tragic assassination left a void that could not remain
unfilled for long. I am honored and saddened by this turn
of events.
However, this does not mean that we are putting aside
the violence enacted against our Kingdom. A thorough
investigation is taking place and I have full faith that
we will have answers and a just resolution soon.
Do not let the actions of one man stir you to fear or
anger. Prime Minister Mirfors wish was to see a lasting
peace forged between the great Kingdoms of Koguryo and
Nagnang. He worked tirelessly to this end and would not
want it ruined now. As of this moment, we have no reason
to believe that King ChaeRi or any other officials of
Nagnang were tied to the attack. Unless proven otherwise,
it would be a shame to see the late Prime Minister's
legacy lost so easily.
Thinking before acting shows wisdom, not weakness.
Kindness and vulnerability are often the greatest
strengths we can harness.

In the aftermath of Mirfors death the spy guild also has a new leader in a person named XinTong and leaves us with many questions: What could have caused an entire group of Junior Premiers to either step down or be removed? Was the death of Mirfors a much thicker plot than we could have imagined? Many of the subpaths have had their share of mysteries lately including the tongue-speaking diviner guide. We will have to wait and see what's in store for us and wish Prime Minister Fayebelle a safer and longer journey!

Event Walkthrough - Temple Skies (Sa san+)
|
Small mini-event is open for the public - Temple Skies and Shattered Ruins. This event is to promote stronger players to drop treasures to the younger community!
In the skies, Temple Skies is only open for strong players (Sa san+) and is extremely dangerous place. Mazel, the NPC outside, offers an award for those that help slay the demons and blue flames.
Deep down in the Shattered ruins is just a open cave that young or old players can walk around to find treasures. These treasures are dropped from Temple Skies when a monster is slain. Different type of ambers and BlueFlame boxes are some of the treasures found in the ruins.

You can receive both legend marks and kills can be done in a group. Monsters will occassionally drop Blueflame boxes also and do not change aggro.
Once you receive Master of BlueFlame and/or Demon Hunter, you can talk to Mazel outside to receive a BlueFlame Rune item. This rune last for 3 months and will cast full heal/mana/rez/asv on everyone in group.
BlueFlame Box - Currently these can not be opened, but Wony mentions that these items will be given when the boxes are opened. List of items is on Community 1886.

18 New Nagnang Defenders

Earlier today, a Nagnang Defender Ceremony was held in a different location than usual. The celebrations started with a reception at the Memorial Garden, remembering the Defenders that are no longer with us. Then it moved to the Nagnang Royal Court where no one was at trial and instead those names who were called by the King were had tears of joy.
Here is the list of the 18 new Nagnang Defenders sanctioned by King ChaeRi Sukaya:

New Spy Premier

Earlier today there has been a shift in the leadership of the Koguryian Spy Guild as Premier Paranoid chose to step down from his position after 22 Hyuls of service. He will continue serving the path as a Junior Premier to the best of his availability. "I want to express my gratitude to the elders, guides, archons and all people who dedicate their free time to these lands", said Paranoid.
The new Premier of the Guild has had previous leadership experiences serving the Koguryo Ministry and the Oceana Navy in the past. In his first day as an elder, he has already shown much eagerness and dedication to his new role.
"We are the Koguryian Spy Guild, and we must return to our roots as a nationalistic organization defending our home. We will no longer cower as unknown, paranoid, misled shadows throwing kunai off aimlessly into the dark. Provided I remain in good health, I will usher us into a new era of dominance and prosperity. Long live Koguryo. Long live His Excellency." said the new Premier.
Nexus Atlas congratulates the new Spy Premier on his new role and respects his wishes to not have his name mentioned. We also thank Paranoid for his contributions to the KSG and his service to the Nexus community overall.

The Temple of BlueFlame inside Taal'yeein Enclave

A new area has been discovered in the depths of the Kugnae Snake cave. What is known as 'The Temple of BlueFlame' has now been found by members of our community, or at least what is left of it. The entrance to the ruins of the temple on the western borders of the Taal'yeein Enclave.
To enter the Shattered Ruins talk to the elderly man perched on top of a fallen column, who answers by the name 'Mazel'. For those who don't know him, Mazel is a Ju Jak Mage from Sun Moon Sect. Once you talk to elderly Mazel, he will talk to you about the story of the BlueFlame Temple, of how long ago it used to be a blossoming area for those who wished to learn the healing ways of the BlueFlame.
He tells us about some powerful magic and even about a BlueFlame Phoenix but warns that such power fell tainted with Truakh's dark magic. For those who might not remember, the Truakh is the dark entity worshipped by the Taal'yeein creatures, especially by their Queen Taeniuru.
Now, all that is left is to restore the legacy of the BlueFlame and Mazel warns us that with a dedication to the cause, people can become either a Master of BlueFlame or a Demon Slayer. According to the Whispering Winds post, old man Mazel is here to save what once was and he's calling out to us.

When strolling along the West border of Taal'yeein Enclave, it's hard not to notice the dark, looming Temple of Truakh; the haunting carved face of the temple overshadows everything around it.
At first it's hard to notice a much smaller, much older structure right adjacent to it... Especially so, as it lays in complete ruin. Many wouldn't give it a second thought, but the pensive look of an elderly man perched on top of a fallen column attracts attention.
The Taal'yeein do not know him; he's a stranger to them. But the man is no stranger to this land and he is here on a mission.
He is here to save what once was and he's calling out to you. |

Barbarian Wilderness Compass Quest

After today's daily reset (1 AM PDT) a new community quest became available, as it was announced by GM Wony on the community board. The quest for the Wilderness Compass is a new permanent quest provided by the Barbarian subpath. As requested by the subpath elder, Nexus Atlas shall not provide any kind of walkthrough to this quest, just like we respect the requests of other subpaths which asked for the same. This is the second community quest provided by the Barbarians, the first being the throwing axe quest.
Other subpaths that have community quest are:
Geomancer - Elemental Orbs
Muse - The Power of the 9 Muse Goddesses
Druid - The Druid Artifact
Diviner - See the Vision of Kujiga
Chongun - Heavenly Advance
All except the Geomancer one have restrictions on disclosing walkthroughs, but most you can get help with when you contact a member of these subpaths directly. Perhaps Barbarians will do the same with Wilderness Compass, if you approach them in a respectful way, after all, these quests are a service the subpaths provide to the community.
All public information about this quest and when it will be made available for the community will be posted by Elder SkoGul on the community board. Stay tuned to that board then!

New Do Elder

Earlier today, Elder Sarphendon of the Do subpath decided to step down from his position after serving the path for 16 Hyuls. He chose to appoint Meridius as his successor in leading the Do.
Meridius has been a Do since Hyul 67 and a Do master (guide) for over a couple of years. He also helped by serving in the Koguryo Ministry and Buya Ministry in the past, also as member of Phoenix and Convenant clans for a short period on each. "The Do have perennially been somewhat reclusive on our mountain. It is time for us to take a more active role in the kingdoms and return to our roots as both scholars and warriors. I trained under seven Masters before I became a Do. Always keep dedication in your and heart and patience in your mind to carry you through. I'll see you on the mountain", said Meridius.
Nexus Atlas congratulates Elder Meridius on his new position and thanks Sarphendon for his services to the Do path and the Nexus community overall.

A vision of celebration

A while ago, four diviners reported having a vision of something that will happen many years in the future.
It seems Milana, Sieo, Asoma, and IcePixy saw a group of women wearing the same clothes standing next to each other and raising a trophy celebrating.
The moment sounded important and they all described a woman with purple hair opening her arms widely in appreciation for people's support. It is unknown yet what is the importance of this vision, but the symbolism of it sounds like women celebrating 4 trophies with an orb on the ground.
Whatever those women in the vision are celebrating, seems like it will be important someday.

Next Elder of the Divine Order - Milana!
|
A few days ago Sieo stepped down as the Elder of the Divine Order and presented Milana as the newest Elder!
 
Milana served the Kingdoms of the Winds in many capacities prior to taking her newest position as Elder of the Divine Order. She first became the Primogen of SanSin and used that opportunity to educate herself about how the clans, kingdoms, and governments operated and related to each other. She then immigrated to Nagnang where she was the Primarch of The Forsaken for a short period and then accepted a position as the Sage of Nagnang. After 8 hyuls as a Guide to her fellow diviners she has definitely earned her newest position as Diviner Elder!
Her passion for building relationships between various organizations shows that the creativity, teamwork and initiative along her path has provided her with all the tools she needs to pursue her goals of an ever-expanding connection between the community, clans, and subpaths.
She has no current plans to make any large changes but simply wishes to continue along the well-laid path left by previous Elder Sieo. She intends to nurture the current traditions in place and to keep things running as smoothly as possible!
Elder Milana also gave us a bit of information in regards to a mysterious Diviner Guide named Seokga who recently appeared speaking in an ancient tongue. He was seen wandering around on a few occassions ranting that the Divine Order was doing everything wrong ~ while she does know what language he is speaking, she is unable to release that information to the public at this time.
We also contacted Sieo to ask her to grace us with a few words about her tenure and this is what she had to say:
"As I step down as Path Elder, I am proud to say that it is because I have completed the goals I set out to accomplish for The Divine Order.
It is no secret that the positions of leadership in our lands are very demanding, unforgiving, and thankless jobs but I never once felt burdened by the position of Elder. On the contrary! With every person who would whisper me even a simple hello or <3 I felt embraced by the Path and the community. With every Diviner Guide who handed out another Tarot Card or Quest, I felt tremendous pride as I saw people step up to and overcome the trials set before them. With every new Guide that ascended and every ritual that was hosted, I was exuberant as the Path and our Lore grew with each week.
Were there problems? Of course there were, but the purpose of leadership is to sort out problems. Thanks to the support of the Path and community, I was able to navigate every issue we faced with confidence and courage.
It has been an honor to serve but, as I said, I have accomplished my goals. The positions of leadership in our land are not meant to be gripped tightly and held on to unless there is still a way for an individual to legitimately improve their organization. Holding on to a position for the sake of status or a spell is pointless and, for those of us not overwhelmed by the bureaucracy of these positions, it can be very tough to realize when we are advancing our organization and when we are just keeping the cogs turning.
Many people have asked if I will be taking on another leadership role and the answer for now is, "no". The reason for this is because I will be taking a vacation and roaming to some far away lands that may take me away from the kingdoms for a number of months. While I will try to come back and check in from time to time, it might prove too far a journey for me to return anytime soon. Know that I think upon all of you fondly and will return after six to eight moons. Until then, I leave The Divine Order in the capable hands of Milana.
