New Poet Secret Discovered (10/7/99): Poet guildmaster Jinsun completes and unveils a new poet secret. The new spell, called Retribution, concentrates all of the poet's mental energy into a powerful attack against a single opponent. This new secret can only be understood by poets who at least at the brink of celestial understanding ((level 56)). While doubtless inferior to the power of mage's offensive spells, Jinsun believes that Retribution will notably increase poet's ability to combat evil.

Lost Mines Reopened (10/9/99, 10/10/99): After months of digging, the entrances to the Lost Mines have been again uncovered. Following their previous excavation over a year ago by King Yuri's workers, some dark denizen of the mines sealed them shut with a massive avalance. Doubtless, this latest intrusion by humans will also be met with resistence from the depths. But what treasures might be unearthed before the darkness again closes itself to the light?

New Ee San Secrets (10/16/99): A total of seven new secrets (including several new classes of spells!) will be released to the prestigious Ee San. Only through extreme dedication and commitment does one reach the rank of Ee San. Their unparalleled discipline and skill is readily apparent through these new powers

Sonhi Spies Escape! (10/19/99): Six Sonhi spies made a daring escape from prison carrying secret information that they had obtained before their capture. Thanks to the efforts of brave and vigilant citizens, these secret papers were prevented from reaching KaMing. Prine M'hul's intelligence service is seeking any information citizens may have on the contents of those papers. The Kugnae spy guild is also rumored to be very interested in them.

Ox's Big Snit (10/20/99): Ox, the long-suffering assistant to tavern-keeper Walsuk, quit his job last week to seek employment elsewhere. Many of the other shopkeepers in Kugnae, along with many citizens of the Nexus, went to find him and bring him home. After trying several other jobs, such as woodcutter and shepherd, an apologetic Walsuk and many supportive citizens persuaded Ox to return to Walsuk tavern.
