With crafted amber you will average 2.2 more rings and lose 26,662.86 less cash per 100 crafted amber. This shows a total loss of 670,400 coins! Jeweler is not a cheap craft to learn.


Crafted ambers sell at the NPC for 250 coins each so if you sell 100 you get 25k. It costs 1k and 2 crafted amber for each attempt at jeweling for a total of 50k.
