You must be able to enter Supply Line Ogres. You will need either a Hamgyong fishing club or Slog's club to enter. Then you have to get a Plate or small plate of substratum. 1. Kill the leader of the River Ogres, Tur-Ghan, to get a Hamgyong Fishing Club or Chief Slog from Slog's Cave to get a Slog's fishing club. 2. Equip the Fishing Club (or Slog's Club) and enter Kikopu's Hut. Kikopu is quite blind and Ogres do not wear glasses so if you carry a club he thinks you are an Ogre and allows you to enter.         3. All Supply Line Ogres drop Ambers and Crates. There are NPCs that will exchange a Crate for an amber. They will also take your crates if you are silly enough to give them away! If you trade 50 crates at once you will get a small amount of experience but then you'd be throwing away your chance for REAL treasure. The Crates contain many items. The most common are Wool, Ginko wood and Amber. Very rarely they will contain Small plate of substratum and Plate of substratum. Hunt and trade till you get one or both of these plates. Note: Some people used more than 3000 ambers without getting Plate of substratum or Small plate of substratum while some have got one of each with only 100 ambers. You can carry a maximum of 50 crates. 4. Talk to Nogh to turn Plates of substratum into a random result of Mesh/Gossamer substratum membrane, Plasmic substratum, Substratum gauntlet, or Substratum headpiece armor pieces. You will also have to pay a 200k fee to have him forge the item. The Membrane armor you get will be for your gender only. (You cannot use a Small plate of substratum for this.) Talk to Nogh to turn the Small plate of substratum into a Small ring of substratum. He will charge a 50,000 fee to forge this item. (You cannot use a Plate of substratum for this.) 6. There are ways to find even greater treasure using the Small ring of substratum if you have a Hamgyong gem. Obtain this item. 7. Talk to Nogh again to turn the Small ring of substratum in a Jeweled ring of substratum. It will cost you another Hamgyong Gem and 50,000 coins. This is a nice item but continue on for there are greater riches ahead. Talk to the dragon Lost inside the Home of Ugh. Lost tells you that he can enhance the ring if you bring him 15 Floating essences and 10 Earthbound essences. He tells you that the essences can be found in a cave to the east of the hut. In the Lost Spirits cave you begin to see this quest will require a mighty effort. When you gathered the essences you probably noticed there seemed to be areas beyond the divide you crossed to enter the Lost Spirits Cave but now there is no way to get there. Or is there? 9. Return to Lost and turn the Jeweled ring of substratum into a Floating ring of substratum - a very NICE item. Lost says it makes you lighter on your feet. You'll be able to walk across the chasm in Murky Divide where the Angry Spirits live and further quests and legends await you!
