Sword will ask you to bring him the pelt of a green squirrel. Go to Nagnang (134, 154) to find the Green squirrels.

2. Sword will then send you to run the Gaunlet and says that you cannot kill any red or blue creatures. You can find the Gaunlet map here. The first and last room have no creatures.

There are several strategies for getting through the hordes of animals in this area. One of the easiest is to wait till late at night when you are not likely to be interrupted. Go in as a ghost; hover at the doorways until the animals walk away clearing the area. You can kill anything you like till you reach Jeweled Rows. Then walk to one side and make sure the animals follow you. Then do the same thing in each room backwards till you have each room with a clear path. At that time, it is best to go get a horse and run through as fast as you can. If you are forced to stop and fight, make sure you do not use flank or backstab because you may kill a red or blue crature.

3. Touch (walk next to) the Altar in Objective, then return home. Your non-bonded shield will be in your inventory.

You are now eligible to get shields from Nagnag's Armory.

4. You can now speak to Chul Smith in Nagnang for information about making a Tall Shield (bonded item).
