How to Begin : Get a Sonhi pipe before starting

Steps :

1. Visit Staff at the Poet Guild in Nagnang. Click Staff and choose "Welcome Stranger" from the menu. Staff wants a Sonhi pipe. He won't tell you this so come prepared with a Sonhi pipe. (You can purchase this pipe at Sying's Shop in Kaming's Encampment.) 2. Wand now asks that you bring to him "wood that lasts forever". Walk around the ground outside the Forever Tree location in the Wilderness (019, 091) until you find a Forever Branch. You gain a new legend mark (Became Nangen Acolyte) when you give him the Forever Branch. 3. After talking with Staff again, you will receive a vial of "Sacred Water". Do not lose this item. You must use it to banish the evil Oblivion. You can find Oblivion at the pagoda south of the Nagnang Poet Guild across the river. Enter the area called "Path of Choice". You can take any of the three paths north but the center path, "Path of the Arrow" is fastest. Do not make the mistake of killing any creatures in this area. Oblivion Map 4. Eventually all paths lead to the room "Oblivion" which is full of Evil presences. Avoid them as you walk around the room trying to fall. Usually it is best to walk around the tree in the center. Once you fall, you will see Oblivion at the end of the room. He will not harm you. Drop the "Sacred water" in front of him to kill him. 5. Back to Staff in the Poet Guild to get your new Poet Whip and a new legend mark. NOTE: If you accidently kill a magical rabbit or evil presence you will need to seek forgiveness from each of the Shaman in the Wilderness Totem Shrines. Do not lose your Sacred water you cannot obtain another one, you will only get one chance to get this correct.
