Yes you can do alliances! I know of Zork and Spider alliances for sure but I am sure more exist. It was difficult to translate this block of text so I don't know exactly what he says but I have heard it requires 100 mandibles and 1 of each boss item to get an alliance. No easy feat as spider mandibles have a fairly low drop rate.
